I hate to say 'I told you so', because I probably didn't, but I wish I did because deep in my soul I knew the mighty Arsenal would beat Real Madrid, and so they did. Over a two-leg tie, meaning two games, one at each teams' repective stadium, the Arsenal overcame the European gaints in each leg. A tale that made headlines and might possibly overshadow, Liverpools' impending Premier league title win this coming. The gunners are in impeccable spirits as they head into the semi-finals with a matchup against French champions, Paris Saint-German(PSG). The reining French champions have been consecutive domestic league winners for more than a decade but European honors remain foreign to them. Likewise the Arsenal are in foreign territory after failing to claim the Uefa Champions league title in all of the competitions' history. The two teams faceoff over a two-legged semi-finals tie with similar nature to the quarter finals setup. The first leg will be held at Arsenals' homeground this coming Tuesday and the return fixture follows at PSGs' stadium a week later. Excitement, anxiety, hope, eagerness, nervousness haunt the Gunners' fanbase all at once, at least I know I am one of the victims.
