The Arsenal

A plague of injuries befell Arsenal these first two month of the year 2025 and with a number of important players laying in the hospital, the team looked dented but still in shape. However Arsenals' resent form has exposed it to be naked, one could argue that it is beyond recognition. Their failure to win either of their last two games only managing a point from a possible six leaves them eleven points behind Liverpool, with eleven games till the season ends. Manager Mikel Arteta responded to a press conference recently insinuating that he would never consider Arsenals' title hopes over for this season, in his words "over my dead body". That remark only sparked mockery from the British media who have already started calculating how many games Liverpool need to win to secure the title. Accordingly to them, Liverpool might not need to win the entire eleven to secure the precious English honors this season as things stand. As Arsenal fans, we continue to hope and pray for a miracle while clinging on to the words of Mikel. Hopefully our prayers and fasting during this blessed month of Ramadan, which starts tomorrow, will yeild a title for Arsenal among other blessings.
